I cannot have any alcohol, can I still use Bach Flower remedies?
The stock bottles contain 27% grape alcohol. The practitioner takes only 2 drops from the stock bottles and adds them to the 30 ml treatment bottle. The client takes 4 drops from this treatment bottle four times a day. This means there is very little alcohol left. For some people, for example recovered alcoholics or people with certain medical conditions, even a trace amount is not acceptable. In these circumstances, the Bach Flower essences can be applied topically: using a spray bottle on the inside of the wrists, or using a dropper bottle on the temples. This method is also preferable for babies and toddlers, partly due to the alcohol content.
